Here in digital to work today on my image. I'm looking for smoke stack references or photos but my computers internet is being a bitch and wont worrkkkkk. So i think ill go work and drink coffee in the atrium! sounds like a plan!

...caught my hair in a drill today in sculpture. mildly alarming, but more so for the drill because now it doesnt work on account of my hair all wound up inside it. Im not liking the thought of gerard having to take apart the drill and pick my hair out. :\

So here I am in another digital class, finding myself once again fretting over my lack of blog posting skills, and lack of digital skills.

Ive been laboriously trying to create something for the next project that is actually a cool piece of art, because I dont think I would put anything I made so far on my wall. Maybe the dyptech but definitly not the first two projects.

So another digital class has passed by, and now I know a few things about photoshop.
I really want to get into digital painting and things, like those hyper realistic images you always find in picdumps on the internet. I've seen some super realistic car images made in illustrator also that were pretty crazy.

Im finding it really weird to write in this, putting it out there on the internet, for the amazingly benevolent and judgemental internet audience to read as they please, although Im fairly certain I dont have to worry that there is anything on this blog to attract random internet traffic, unless I renamed my url something along the lines of youporn. Which would attract many accidental visits im sure.

So I got up today, had some toast, juice, to fuel my body to sit in the dark and learn illustrator with Pierre and co.
Checked my email quickly before I was ready to go out the door and class was cancelled.

If I checked it last night I wouldve been able to sleep in all day, as my next class is not until 7 in the evening. Woe is me. No point to go back to sleep now I guess.

Saw Evergon in an artist talk last night. He was pretty ok I guess, I didn't expect the voice he had to come out of him, it was really quite shocking, as was a lot of his work. I didnt really agree with the photos of street boys when I was thinking about it later with someone.

Slacker?

So I realized I've been the slackest in our merry band, racking up but one intro post until now.
Since I didnt say in the first post, this blog is required for my Intro Digital Course, so it'll have random things about art and... such
Today actually I made some art. With April and Johnathon outside using oil pastels, and it rained on us and we sat in it for a while and drew still and just got wet.
Then we ate lots of chocolate cake from Aprils Birthday, had a drink at the backlot, and an extremely delicious supper that Johnathon cooked up.. ! Definitly goin in the recipe book.. And overall a wonderful day..

And I saw some extremely cool art by this dude, stumbled it. Luke Jerram. Some interesting works included the projection ring , the installation's dream director, and tide, and what I found the most intriguing.. glass microbiology
