Sensing

Wouldn't it be totally rad if Humans were capable of selecting how their senses interpreted things. What if a human could look at rose and instead of seeing it, hear it, and perhaps hear the smell as well. Or maybe see the smell. Or maybe the rose is in fact us seeing the smell. That doesn't make any sense, but it's interesting how our senses perceive things for us.
In the digital world you can tell a computer to play a jpeg.. or create one from an mp3, digital is capable of changing how it perceives, reading the same code with different senses, different programs. It makes me think that humans are like computers that are locked into place for the most part, what if a human could choose which things to interpret and with what sense. What if you opened your eyes with Firefox instead of photoshop some day. Everything the same but perceived differently...
It's scary how much technology is capable of, same with people I guess..
